Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees
Add 2 & 1/2 cups Heritage Flake cereal to a ziplock bag. Close it, leaving it a bit open for air to esape
Roll the cereal with the rolling pin until pieces are crushed into desired sizes. I prefer to have some a bit bigger and some crumb size.
Add the crushed cereal to one of the dipping bowls.
Add the all-purpose flour to one of the other dipping bowls.
Crack the eggs into the last dipping bowl and whisk with either a fork or whisk.
Add sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the bowl or all-purpose flour, and stir together.
Add paprika to the bowl of eggs, and combine.
Take your chicken breasts and cut into 1-inch strips.
Take a piece of chicken and first dip it into the flour mixture.
Next, dip it into the egg mixture.
Lastly, dip and roll it into the crushed cereal. Making sure to give it a nice coating.
Place coated chicken strip on plate or tray.
Coat all other strips of chicken the same way.
Once all pieces of chicken are coated, place them into the air fryer in a single layer.
Cook the chicken strips in the air fryer for 8 minutes.
Flip the chicken strips over and cook for another 6 minutes. Or until golden brown.
Always make sure to check your chicken pieces are fully cooked before eating.
Remove chicken strips from air fryer, place onto a plate and enjoy!
