My name is Kendra, and I am behind all these wonderful words here on Healing Soulfully.
Healing Soulfully was created to help give women the know-how to be leaders in their own health.
I strive to gather the most relevant and accurate information on holistic health to provide women like you with the tools you need to build a more natural and sustainable life.
Focusing on whole-body wellness, Healing Soulfully provides information on the best foods to nourish your body, along with recipes showing you how to incorporate those foods into your daily routine.
I share different types of exercise/movement you can do to gain the strength and flexibility your body needs to live long and healthy.
You will find tips & techniques for practicing mindfulness, including how to become more connected and conscious of the way you live day to day.
From natural homemaking tips to non-toxic living, I share all about how to have a safer, cleaner chemical-free home, while providing insight for finding mental and physical peace within yourself.
The goal of Healing Soulfully is to help you live a more natural & holistic life, free from dis-ease and illness, allowing you to live your fullest most joyful life possible.
MY healing journey
I grew up in a very natural and health-conscious family as a child, was born vegan, transitioned to being vegetarian during childhood, and introduced some animal products into my diet in my late teen years.
Over the years I became fascinated with how different I was compared to other kids growing up around me.
I carried that interest and knowledge of health & nutrition through to my adult life.
I have a Health & Fitness Promotion diploma and was an in-person Personal Trainer and nutrition coach for two years.
My health journey has led me to compete in 2 bodybuilding shows, one of which I won 1st place and Overall Bikini.
From there I started focusing on living a more balanced lifestyle through nutrition and exercise.
I began focusing my interest on holistic health and learning all I could about it for my own knowledge.
Every day I am continuously learning about the old and new ways of taking your health into your own hands and living a more holistic life free from illness.
I have always been extremely passionate about sharing all I know about holistic health with other people. Always wanting to help cure their illnesses, not by simply covering up their symptoms, but by truly fixing the root cause of the dis-ease in their body.
I believe to be healthy and dis-ease free you don’t need medication; your body is its own healer, as long as you provide it the optimal environment to do so.
